Questions I often get

Don't I just need an answering machine?

An answering machine asks people to wait. A written message with your company name tells them you've seen their call and will get back to them. Most people don't leave a voicemail, but a text makes them stay with you instead of calling the next one on Google.

Do I have to change my phone number?

No. You keep your own number. We just set up call forwarding, so missed calls trigger the automatic text. Everything else works exactly as before.

Is it legal to send the text?

Yes. The text is a factual service message and not marketing, so it falls outside the consent requirement in the Danish Marketing Act (section 10). You also get a data processing agreement, so GDPR is covered.

What if it doesn't make a difference for me?
